Ramsey Katul

After graduating high school in Lebanon I came to UBCO for a BASc in mechanical engineering that I received in 2018. I am currently a graduate student pursuing a MASc with Dr. Mohammadi and the Heart Valve Performance Laboratory. My interests are reading, cooking, playing the guitar, and every four years; the world cup. My current research involves studying the stability of atherosclerotic plaques, and identifying vulnerabilities to help prevent the serious heart diseases they cause by rupturing. In addition to biomedical engineering; my other academic interests are in numerical methods such as CFD and FEM, alternative energy, and MEMS.
