HanChuan Wang

HanChuan was born in China, but grew up in Singapore after moving there at the age of 2. After discovering his natural aptitude for engineering, he attended UBC Okanagan to attain his Bachelors of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering. Han’s personal interests are animation, archery, culinary arts, and e-sports.
 
Han is currently working on a passive magnetic actuator for vibration damping with potential applications for individuals living with Parkinson’s Disease. His academic interest lies in biomedical engineering, particularly in designing a new generation of prosthetics to improve the quality of life for patients over currently available solutions.
